Partnership Initiatives

Endowed Gift

The development and delivery of several leadership initiatives at the College of Pharmacy has been supported by a $325,000 endowment gift from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., which has created the “Leading Change in Pharmacy Endowment.”  This permanent fund supports many leadership development initiatives, most notably:

• Acquisition of several important learning resources used within the Leading Change in Pharmacy courses.
• Student attendance at our leadership retreat
• Support for the Leadership Networking Partners Events, a critical component of our leadership development initiatives, providing opportunities for students and local pharmacy leaders to network and learn from one another . 

We are grateful for Wal-Mart’s support of leadership development at the College of Pharmacy.  This endowed gift has greatly enhanced our ongoing ability to prepare students to lead future change in pharmacy.
