Welcome to the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, where our strong legacy of leadership sets the college apart in education.
We have, from the first classes in 1892, emphasized pharmacists as leaders in health care and society, not just the profession of pharmacy. Those values led to the college’s early development of a Pharm.D. program for clinical pharmacists, the Kellogg program for the education of Ph.D.-level clinical scholars, development of the pharmaceutical care philosophy and practice, a strong tradition of graduate education and research in a variety of pharmacy disciplines and graduates who hold local and national leadership positions.
The College continues to be committed to leadership development in our current students, our alumni and the pharmacists of Minnesota. We are excited about our many initiatives that promote or enhance leadership among pharmacists and we hope that you will use this website often to identify opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skills in this area.
